We agree that grasscloth wallpaper is very nice and is one of the biggest interior design trends at the moment. It suits very contemporary interiors that are after quite a neutral colour palette but want texture. The natural aspect of it creates the desire to feel the walls. Having said that it also looks great as a backdrop to antiques and can be the perfect addition for that classic look. We all know the easiest way to create atmosphere or a particular look is by using our walls to full effect.
It’s important to note that true grassweave or grasscloth wallcoverings are handmade so they will have visible imperfections and colour variations which is quite normal. You cannot pattern match these papers and you will see joins when they are hung. These colour variations and imperfections are part of the charm of grassweaves and are not considered a fault. Grasscloth wallcoverings are designed to be hung by professional wallpaper hangers.
