Grasscloth wallcoverings are the perfect choice for the latest contemporary look. We recently installed a beautiful black grasscloth with a hint of natural straw through it. It was installed to the back wall of a staircase and the difference was amazing.<\/p>\n

As the back wall was 4 metres high and devoid of anything, it really needed something on it to make a statement.
\nThe owner chose a really stunning grasscloth in dark shades which completely changed the entire look of the staircase.<\/p>\n

The staircase can be seen as soon as you walk through the front entrance so it was important to use the space wisely. The grasscloth wallpaper<\/strong> makes a statement, turning this once bland area into a head turner.<\/p>\n

As you can see form the closeup photo below, the grass reeds are randomly stitched together with various shades ranging from the natural grass colour to the darkers shades. This variation gives it a lovely overall dark effect when hung on a wall however you will always see joins as the nature of the product cannot be pattern matched. Natural wallcoverings such as grasscloths and seagrass are a handmade product so there will be visible imperfections and variations in colour which is normal and adds to the charm of grassweaves. These natural imperfections are not considered faults but rather add to the natural textured look.<\/p>\n
